  • Connect patients with safe, hospital-based dental and aesthetic treatments

  • Guide them from enquiry to booking (we handle the clinical side)

  • Coordinate with our team to ensure smooth travel, accommodation, and care

Who We're Looking For:

  • Self-starters with strong networks or digital presence

Group Incentive: Free Travel for Agents

Sales Agents who coordinate treatment for 5 or more paying patients on the same trip are eligible for:

  • Free return flight

  • Free accommodation during the patients' stay

This allows the Agent to support patients in person if needed, especially in cases where:

  • Photos or scans don’t fully capture the clinical complexity

  • Face-to-face reassurance or coordination improves patient trust and conversion

Agents are not required to be onsite, but this benefit enables hands-on support when needed and may help justify price differences that emerge after in-person consultations or diagnostics.

Global Medical Tourism Market: Focus on European Destinations

Market Overview and Size

The global medical tourism market was valued at USD 13.98 billion in 2021, with projections to reach USD 53.51 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 21.1%. Europe, especially Turkey and Albania, has emerged as a major hub, drawing patients from the UK, Italy, Germany, the USA and Asia for dental, aesthetic, and orthopedic treatments.

Demand by Treatment Type

Top treatments sought in Albania and Turkey include:

  • Dental Implants & Full Arch Restorations

  • Cosmetic Dentistry (Veneers, Whitening)

  • Orthodontics and Aligners

  • Aesthetic Surgery (Rhinoplasty, Liposuction, Hair Transplants)

  • Minor Orthopedic Procedures

Dental tourism alone accounts for over 40% of inbound medical tourists to Albania.

Outbound Patient Trends: UK, Italy and Beyond

  • UK: NHS delays and high private dental costs push thousands annually to seek care abroad. Most popular are dental implants, full mouth rehabs, and veneers.

  • Italy: Long wait times and regional cost disparities drive outbound flow. Patients are attracted by pricing transparency and combined treatment-holiday offerings.

  • Emerging Markets: Increased travel from Switzerland, France, and Scandinavian countries, especially among retirees and cost-conscious middle-class consumers.

Market Size and Flows – Deeper Analysis

  • Turkey hosted over 1.2 million medical tourists in 2022, with dental making up a large portion.

  • Albania saw rapid growth, with dental tourism growing 17% YoY, serving primarily Italian, Kosovar, and Swiss patients.

  • Estimated annual spend per dental patient ranges around £5,000, depending on procedure complexity.

Patient Demographics & Motivations by Segment

  1. Millennials (25–40): Seeking cosmetic improvement and digital convenience. Often influenced by social media and peers.

  2. Middle-Aged Professionals (40–60): Prioritising cost savings and quality. Looking for transparent pricing and hospital-grade safety.

  3. Retirees (60+): Seeking restorative care, especially full-mouth work, due to affordability and trust in European medical standards.

Top motivations:

  • Price vs UK/Italy (savings of 50–70%)

  • Fast Access (weeks vs months)

  • Integrated Care and Travel Experience

  • Advanced Technology (CBCT, CAD/CAM)

Gaps and Unmet Needs in the Market

  • Inconsistent Clinical Standards: Many clinics do not operate within hospitals or under EU-equivalent clinical governance.

  • Lack of Multilingual Support: Some facilities struggle to handle English- or Italian-speaking patients smoothly.

  • Unclear Aftercare Pathways: Many patients report lack of follow-up or poor documentation for home-based dentists.

  • Marketing Over-Promise: Patients often face misalignment between what’s promised online and what is clinically achievable.

HospitalOne Strategic Advantage:

  • Hospital Setting: All procedures in certified hospital environments, not dental-only clinics.

  • Technology Edge: Intraoral scanning, CAD/CAM, CBCT-guided planning, laser and sedation dentistry.

  • UK/Italy Alignment: Cultural fluency, GDPR-compliant CRM, multilingual support.

  • Transparent Sales Model: Trained agents guiding, not selling medical advice—removing ethical and clinical risk.

FAQs

  • No. You don’t need clinical knowledge. Your role is to guide patients through the sales journey. All medical advice, quotes, and treatment planning come directly from our clinical team.

  • Commissions are paid monthly, via bank transfer. You’ll be paid only on treatments that have been fully paid for by the patient and confirmed by our operations team.

  • Your commission is based on your lifetime sales value and current 90-day performance. You’ll start at 5%, with the potential to grow to 7.5% or 10% as you hit Silver or Gold tier thresholds.

  • You’ll drop only one tier at a time (e.g. from Gold to Silver), and we may extend probation if you have a strong pipeline. Inactivity or failure to meet Bronze thresholds could result in removal from the programme.

  • No. This is a flexible, performance-based role. You can work around your schedule, but your commission depends entirely on how much you sell.

  • All marketing materials must be approved in advance. You’ll have access to a pre-approved content library. Creating your own materials without permission may result in removal from the programme.

  • CRM access is available only for Gold-tier agents. Bronze and Silver agents will receive updates and leads via email or shared forms but must maintain manual records.

  • Each agent is assigned a unique referral code or tracking link. In the CRM, there’s also a field to confirm “Agent Involvement” on each treatment before commissions are approved.

  • No commission is paid on cancelled or incomplete treatments. You only earn commission on paid and delivered procedures.

  • At this stage, the programme is individual only. However, top-performing Gold agents may be offered ambassador-style recruitment incentives or leadership roles in the future.
